I am so excited you are here. I’m not your typical early childhood education consultant, and I love sharing the journey that brought me to this role. I entered the AI/AN Early Head Start and Head Start world as a parent, and then as a Lead Teacher with a Coast Salish Head Start program. I later served as a Policy Council Chair. My passion for building quality family services and early childhood education in historically underserved communities grew into a 16+ year journey in the early childhood education administration and leadership field.
I have a passion for helping people who slip through the cracks, I love connecting with parents and program staff who have struggled to feel seen or heard by “traditional” systems, and believe strongly in harm reduction, and working as an ally to support the sovereignty and self-determination of our Tribal nations.
As the proud mom of two talented, curious, and empathetic AI/AN children, I am committed to ensuring all Indigenous children have access to high-quality early learning, care, and family support services.
